Global Energy Metals Corp (TSX-V:GEMC) provided updates on its portfolio companies, showcasing advancements that align with its focus on monetizing non-core assets and supporting the clean energy transition.
The company has built a portfolio of what it considers high-quality, high-potential equity investments in industry peers by monetizing its non-core assets.
In the update, GEMC highlighted Electric Royalties, which reported progress at the Råna Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project, with Kingsrose Mining increasing its ownership stake through additional investment.
Kingsrose has completed its 51% interest earn-in and plans to invest an additional A$4 million to increase its stake to 65%.
GEMC owns 10% of Narvik Nickel, which holds a 100% interest in the Råna Project.
Electric Royalties also acquired a cash-flow-generating copper stream in Chile and released an updated resource estimate for the Zonia Copper-Oxide Deposit.
GEMC holds 1.15 million shares in Electric Royalties.
Meanwhile, Metal Bank Ltd (ASX:MBK), in which GEMC owns 13.54 million shares, is advancing the Millennium graphite project in Australia.
A graphite sampling and assay program is underway, aiming to enhance the project's value.
Graphite has been identified across a two-kilometer strike length, supported by historic high-grade rock chip results and prior drilling.
GEMC is the 100% owner of an Australian subsidiary company Element Minerals Australia Pty Ltd ACN, which holds 49% ownership in the Millennium project.
Portfolio company Terra Balcanica Resources raised C$986,885 for exploration in Saskatchewan and the Balkans and acquired uranium exploration licenses near Canada’s Athabasca Basin.
High-Tech Metals is close to completion of a desktop review of the Werner Lake Project compiling all available historical data and newly acquired data.
Marquee Resources reported promising REE drilling results in Australia and secured funding for lithium exploration.
GEMC also highlighted its royalty interests and ownership of US-based projects, including Lovelock Mine and Monument Peak.
