Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) (GMG) has highlighted significant milestones in the commercialization of its THERMAL-XR coating system, which enhances heat exchange efficiency and reduces energy use by restoring corroded surfaces and enhancing conductivity with GMG Graphene.
The product has achieved Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification, making it the first thermal air conditioning coating to meet this green standard.
This certification is a key recognition in Singapore’s green building industry and bolsters the product's appeal across regional markets like Malaysia and Vietnam, where similar standards are accepted, GMG highlighted.
Additionally, GMG and its US partner Nu Calgon have submitted a Pre-Manufacture Notice to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), aiming to bring THERMAL-XR to the HVAC aftermarket in the US.
This application, expected to be approved within a year, represents a major step in expanding the product's market reach.
"The SGBP Certification is highly welcomed and comes after many years of working with our coating and carrying out many demonstration projects in Singapore with our distribution and coating partners,” GMG CEO Craig Nicol said in a statement.
“We also welcome the progress on the EPA submission with our Nu Calgon distribution partner."
