Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) CEO Martin Rosser talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s maiden drilling program at the Mbe South Prospect in Cameroon. Speaking from Yaoundé, Rosser highlighted that this program includes 6,590 meters of drilling across 24 holes, focusing on testing the structural orientation of the mineralized zone at depth.
The decision to initiate this program follows successful trenching results, which identified a mineralised corridor at Mbe South spanning 500 meters. According to Rosser, the initial drilling phase will employ scissor holes to better understand the geological structures. He added that while the focus remains on Mbe South for now, the northern prospect, MB01-N, may be explored in the future. Rosser described this moment as an "exciting milestone" for Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR). He emphasised the potential for further discoveries as drilling progresses.
