Standard Uranium reports high-grade uranium assay results from Sun Dog project

Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF) has announced initial assay results from its 2024 exploration at the Sun Dog project near Uranium City, Saskatchewan.

The program revealed significant uranium mineralization across multiple target areas, including outcrop samples grading up to 13% U3O8 (uranium).

At the Wishbone Target Area, new surface uranium mineralization returned assays up to 0.143% U3O8, while historical showings of up to 0.32% U3O8 were also confirmed.

Seven of eight drill holes at the Wishbone Target intersected anomalous radioactivity, and further geochemical assays are pending.

The Spring-Dome Target Area yielded newly discovered zones of visible uranium mineralization with assays reaching 13% U3O8, along with off-scale radioactivity readings exceeding 65,535 counts per second (cps).

At the McNie Target Area, boulder samples returned uranium assays up to 0.25% U3O8, with over four kilometers of untested conductors identified.

Standard Uranium believes the areas explored during the summer 2024 program represent only a small portion of the numerous targets on the project.

It, with its partners, is prioritizing follow-up work, including additional geophysical surveys and drill programs, to further evaluate these promising zones.

The company and Aero are currently planning additional geophysical work to refine drill targets for 2025, with these activities scheduled to begin imminently.

The Sun Dog Project is under a three-year earn-in agreement with Aero Energy, initiated on October 20, 2023.

Aero has confirmed its commitment to Year 2 of the agreement, which includes a minimum investment of $2 million in exploration expenditures starting October 20, 2024.

Standard Uranium oversees and manages all exploration activities on the project.
