Fah Mai Holdings Group Inc (OTC:FMHG) UK Head and Manager of Whisky Bull Auctions, Jacob Carter, talked with Proactive about the upcoming Whisky Live Thailand 2024 event, one of the most exciting whisky festivals of the year.
The event, held at the Rembrandt Hotel in Bangkok from November 16-18, promises an impressive lineup of renowned international distilleries and unique experiences for whisky enthusiasts.
Proactive: We’re discussing one of the most highly anticipated events of 2024 for whisky lovers: Whisky Live Thailand. Jacob, let’s jump right in. Whisky Live Thailand 2024 is promising an exceptional lineup and unique experiences. Tell us about some of the distilleries and brands participating this year.
Jacob Carter: Yes, like you said, Whisky Live Thailand. Thank you. It’s going to be amazing. Let’s jump right in. Distilleries—some of the people that we’ve got attending this year include renowned distilleries from all over the world, such as Cats Eye Distillery, James Bay Distillery from the USA, and Great Southern Distillery from Australia. We also have Holyrood Distillery, Aceo Spirit from the UK, Rhum St Barth, Sanpatong Distillery from Thailand, VE DE DI from Vietnam, and many more, including Sullivans Cove.
Proactive: Sounds like a great international lineup, Jacob. I’ve also heard that Rhum St Barth has a special guest lined up. Could you tell us more about that?
Jacob Carter: We’re honoured to have Mikael Silvestre, the legendary French footballer, joining us. He’ll be hosting an exclusive masterclass for Rhum St Barth, which will be a great opportunity for attendees to learn not only about his career in football but also his passion for the world of rum and whisky.
Proactive: Speaking of great opportunities, I’ve heard there’s an exclusive offering for whisky collectors—the Platinum Cask exclusive series from the UK.
Jacob Carter: Yes, that’s right. We’re excited to showcase the exclusive whisky series from Platinum Cask. These are limited whiskeys crafted with extraordinary care and attention to detail.
