Silver North confirms high-grade silver at Yukon’s Haldane property in new drill results

Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG, OTCQB:TARSF) reported promising results from its 2024 drilling campaign at the Haldane property, located in the Keno Hill Silver District, Yukon.

Recent drilling confirmed that the Main Fault is a productive structure, Silver North said, hosting multiple high-grade silver-bearing veins and breccias.

The drilling program consisted of three holes covering 732 meters, targeting the Main Fault and West Fault.

The Main Fault produced multiple high-grade intersections, which Silver North’s CEO, Jason Weber, called a “new drill discovery.” The company aims to further develop the Main Fault as a high-priority target for future exploration.

“We can now elevate the Main Fault to an important silver target where we can potentially delineate new silver resources along with the West Fault target,” Weber said. He added that the continuity and increasing grade of the mineralization encountered are “extremely encouraging” and set the stage for an expanded drilling program planned for 2025.

The Main Fault, identified as a parallel structure to the West Fault, was prioritized in the 2024 drill program following surface sampling that showed promising results. Highlights include an intersection of 1.83 meters (true width) containing 1,088 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 3.90 g/t gold, 1.89% lead, and 0.63% zinc. Within this interval, a high-grade segment yielded 2,470 g/t silver, 9.64 g/t gold, 3.88% lead, and 0.99% zinc over 0.73 meters.

The elevated gold values in this area stand out compared to other intersections on the property, though further work is needed to understand the mineralogy, Silver North told shareholders.

Additional results included a central structural zone interval of 3.05 meters at 460 g/t silver, 0.15 g/t gold, 4.34% lead, and 1.23% zinc, with a high-grade core of 1.65 meters at 777 g/t silver, 0.25 g/t gold, 7.86% lead, and 2.22% zinc. Another promising zone yielded 28.36 meters at 130 g/t silver, 0.55% lead, and 0.52% zinc, underscoring the area’s potential for larger-scale mineralization.

Testing of the West Fault target was inconclusive due to the challenges of shallow core recovery in oxidized material. One hole intersected an unmineralized fault zone, while another failed to recover core at the projected fault intersection. The company is planning deeper drilling to adequately assess the West Fault.
