Norsk Titanium (OTCQX:NORSF) announced further expansion of its patented Rapid Plasma Deposition (RPD) technology into new markets and customers.
The company’s RPD process, designed to produce high-strength titanium parts with precision and efficiency, has gained traction within the defense and space sectors.
Norsk Titanium (OTCQX:NORSF) said it has transitioned 33 components from traditional subtractive manufacturing to its proprietary RPD process, up from 28 parts in August. This includes multiple components for a US Department of Defense (DoD) prime contractor.
The company also reported success in the space industry, where it recently began serial production of two new space-qualified parts previously produced using conventional methods. The adoption of Norsk’s technology by aerospace and defense contractors underscores the industry’s demand for sustainable, high-performance manufacturing solutions.
In addition to scaling production, Norsk Titanium (OTCQX:NORSF) is working to include its RPD technology in the Metallic Materials Properties Development and Standardization handbook, a step that would enhance its recognition as a standardized manufacturing process, potentially streamlining regulatory approval for customers seeking to incorporate RPD parts into their designs.

As part of its strategy, the company is focusing on expanding its catalog of qualified parts to further penetrate these markets and drive sustained revenue growth.
