The company has begun an RC drilling program at its Yidby Gold Project in Western Australia. This project targets an emerging gold system with mineralised zones up to 80 metres wide. Current gold anomalies cover a 3-kilometre strike length, with potential for further discoveries along strike and at depth.
The new phase of drilling includes 12 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes, totaling 2,500 metres, and focuses on priority targets south and east of current mineralisation. Recent geophysical and structural analysis guided these targets, identifying gravity and IP anomalies linked to high-grade gold zones.
After completing Yidby drilling, Surefire will proceed with its maiden drill program at the Phat Boy copper prospect. This will target copper and zinc soil anomalies, aiming to uncover volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits, with a model similar to the Golden Grove mine. Yidby and Phat Boy are key projects in Surefire's ongoing exploration efforts in Western Australia.
