Arizona Gold & Silver launches drill program to probe deeper mineral zones at Philadelphia - ICYMI

Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF) earlier this week commenced a 40-hole drill program at its Philadelphia Project in Arizona, a critical milestone expected to advance the company’s exploration goals.

CEO Mike Stark told Proactive that the program will operate across two primary pads, aiming to identify the suspected mineral heat source beneath the project area.

According to Stark, initial drilling at pad one will cover depths between 800 and 1,000 feet, with further drilling planned if early findings are promising. He stated that pad one can support up to 20 holes, while pad two, located 600 meters north, will facilitate another 20.

The goal is to explore deeper mineralized zones, building on past intercepts that included high-grade findings, such as 1.34 grams per tonne over 150 meters.

The company noted its advantage of utilizing an accessible roadway, which minimizes infrastructure expenses and simplifies site access. Stark highlighted, “This is the TSN turning point,” emphasizing the significance of this drilling phase for the company and its potential to confirm Arizona Gold & Silver’s hypothesis about the area’s mineral source.

If successful, the team anticipates that drilling deeper could reveal increased grades, boosting the project’s viability.
