ATHA Energy appoints seasoned executives to leadership team

ATHA Energy Corp (CSE:SASK, OTCQB:SASKF) has announced the appointment of Erinn Broshko as a non-executive director and Rhéal Assié as chief financial officer.

The company said Broshko, a seasoned executive and lawyer, brings more than 25 years of experience in law, business, and leadership, including roles as CEO and executive chairman in biotech and energy services.

Assié has worked in accounting and mining for 15 years, including experience in the uranium industry. He has held roles at Deloitte, Agrium, and Cameco, and served as CFO of NexGen Energy Ltd.

ATHA also announced the resignation of Jeffrey Barber from its board of directors and Akash Patel as CFO. Barber and Patel will both provide consulting services to the company to ensure a smooth transition.

Troy Boisjoli, ATHA’s CEO, acknowledged their contributions to the company.

“We are deeply grateful to Jeffrey and Akash for their dedication and invaluable contributions during their time with ATHA. Their efforts have laid a strong foundation for our continued success,” Boisjoli said.

“At the same time, we are also excited to welcome new members to the team and believe their expertise and vision align with our strategic goals as we enter this new phase of growth in the uranium cycle.”
