NextSource Materials completes first commercial graphite shipments to Germany and the US

NextSource Materials Inc. (TSX:NEXT, OTCQB:NSRCF) announced that it has completed its first commercial shipments of SuperFlake graphite concentrate from its Molo Graphite Mine in southern Madagascar.

The company said full container loads of its high-quality, coarse flake graphite were exported to Germany and the United States under existing offtake agreements.

These shipments are aimed at key markets for high-value graphite products, including refractory materials and graphite foils used in consumer electronics and fire-retardant applications.

"We are delighted to announce our first commercial shipments of SuperFlake graphite from Molo to European and American customers,” NextSource Materials CEO Craig Scherba commented.

“This is an important step in NextSource's development as a supplier of critical materials to global markets and a contributor to economic development in Madagascar."

The Molo Mine is currently being optimized to achieve production capacity of 17,000 tonnes per annum.

In addition, the company is advancing plans for downstream graphite value-added operations through the establishment of Battery Anode Facilities to produce coated, spheronized, and purified graphite for battery and automotive clients, moving away from existing Asian supply chains.
