AJN Resources to receive key drilling data for Manono Northeast by end of October

AJN Resources Inc (CSE:AJN) told investors it expects to receive drilling results by the end of October for its Manono Northeast Project in the DRC, where initial findings indicate the presence of spodumene and pegmatite mineralization over a potential 4-kilometer strike length.

In a statement, AJN said the Manono Northeast pegmatites are believed to extend from the 400-million-tonne high-grade pegmatite zone previously identified at Manono onto AJN’s permit area.

Both diamond drilling and RC drilling have shown promising early signs, with spodumene and minor lepidolite mineralization identified in diamond drill holes along a fence line.

AJN said the holes intersected an 80 to 100-meter-wide, flat-dipping pegmatitic zone in granite. This pegmatitic zone was defined over at least 300 meters at the surface by RC drilling, which also uncovered blocky quartz, suggesting pegmatites in two other zones. These findings extend the potential strike length of the pegmatites to 4 kilometers.

Once the assay results are received, AJN Resources plans to analyze them and determine the next steps for further exploration on the Manono Northeast Project.

The company is focused on advancing its exploration activities in a region known for its rich mineral resources, particularly lithium-bearing pegmatites.
