Artemis Resources identifies visible gold at Sing Six-Sing Well prospects

During a ground reconnaissance program, Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) has picked out visible gold and mineralised veins at its Sing Six and Sing Well prospects, just 6 kilometres southwest of the recent Titan gold discovery within the company's Karratha Gold Project in Western Australia.

Visible and vein-hosted gold

Executive director George Ventouras said: “Once again our exploration team has successfully identified and collected visible gold samples across our tenement portfolio.

“We are encouraged by the level of surface and vein-hosted gold that has been discovered, especially in a known mineralised area such as Sing Six.

“This bodes well for further potential exploration success and these clues are leading us to the source of the gold which is very exciting.”

The program included field mapping and chip sampling that highlighted a significant mineralisation zone along a two-kilometre length.

A total of 201 samples were collected for assay with angular free gold found at surface across multiple locations within an interpreted 200- to 300-metre-wide NE-SW trending shear zone.

Visible gold was also observed within outcropping quartz and iron oxide veins sampled across the same zone.

In addition to the gold discoveries, Artemis noted intense foliation and alteration in the host rocks associated with the mineralised veins along the two-kilometre stretch of the NE-SW zone.

Mineralised veins over wide area

The Sing Six and Sing Well prospects, along with the Titan gold target and Artemis’ Carlow Gold-Copper Project, are interpreted to lie within the Regal Thrust structural corridor, which hosts multiple shears and faults.

The prospects, in the Silica Hills tenement, were previously explored through wide-spaced soil sampling, metal detector sampling and a 14-hole aircore drilling program in 2020, which reported a best intersection of 2 metres at 0.97 g/t gold from 9 metres.

In May 2024, Artemis Resources conducted follow-up surface sampling and mapping to better understand the distribution of veining, structures and alteration zones, which often point to a larger gold mineralised system.

Recent fieldwork identified mineralised veins across a 2-kilometre target area, with visible gold found in surface samples and outcropping veins.

Coarse, angular free gold was also discovered around these veins and along a 1-kilometre trend, suggesting proximity to gold sources.
