Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX:L1M) has thanked non-executive director Francesco Cannavo, who was a founding director of the company, for his contributions after he provided notice of his intention to resign.
Cannavo’s resignation will be effective from November 28, 2024, being the date of the company’s Annual General Meeting.
As well as being a founding director Cannavo played a key role in the company’s ASX listing and the acquisition of the company’s assets.
Thanked for contribution
In a statement, the company said: “The board thanks Mr Cannavo for his significant contribution to the company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.”
The board will announce a replacement director in due course.
Managing director Alex Biggs said, “I would like to thank Frank for his contributions to Lightning Minerals over the past two years.
"Frank was the founder of the company and a key part of its IPO on the ASX in 2022. Further, he was instrumental in the works and acquisitions the company has completed since.
"It has been a pleasure working together and the board wishes him well in the future.”
