Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG, OTCQB:TARSF) it has completed its 2024 drilling campaign at the Haldane property in Yukon.
The company confirmed that two holes intersected the Main Fault, identifying a fourth silver vein target.
A total of 732 meters were drilled across three holes, focusing on the West Fault and Main Fault targets.
This was Silver North’s first test of the Main Fault, with two of the three holes intersecting the structure in unoxidized rock, allowing for strong recovery of the vein targets.
According to Silver North, the drilling revealed Keno-style quartz-siderite veins and breccias typical of the district.
“We have shown that the Main Fault is another viable target with wide intersections of the structure 150 and 190 metres below surface, hosting classic Keno-style veins and breccias with siderite gangue and sulphide mineralization,” said Jason Weber, CEO of Silver North.
“Regardless of the silver grades returned from these two Main Fault intersections, we can confidently say we have added a fourth viable silver target at Haldane.”
One hole intersected the Main Fault breccia and siderite vein between 171 and 176.7 meters, while a follow-up hole intersected a wider unoxidized structural zone from 183.5 to 203 meters, exhibiting multiple fault splays and quartz-siderite veins.
Though silver grades are not yet available, the drilling program confirmed the Main Fault’s potential for high-grade silver mineralization.
A planned fourth hole at the Bighorn target was postponed due to challenging conditions, but the company has prepared a drill pad for future campaigns.
The Haldane property spans 8,579 hectares and is located 25 kilometers west of Keno City, Yukon.
