Hillcrest Energy Technologies Advances ZVS Technology and works towards Commercial Agreements

Hillcrest Energy Technologies CEO Don Currie joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company's progress in a recent interview with Proactive, highlighting major advancements that position Hillcrest as a leader in the electric vehicle (EV) and renewable energy industries. The company is gaining traction with its Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology, designed to enhance the performance and efficiency of EV systems and renewable energy applications.

Currie emphasized that Hillcrest is in advanced discussions with leading automakers and Tier One suppliers, with growing interest in its ZVS traction inverter and power factor correction (PFC) prototype. These innovations are noted for their ability to eliminate switching losses, improve electromagnetic compatibility, and boost overall system efficiency. By the end of 2024, Hillcrest expects to finalize demonstrations with several top automakers and suppliers.

Hillcrest's development partner, Systematec GmbH, is playing a critical role in these advancements. Together, they held strategic meetings with potential customers and investors in Germany, and are progressing towards securing Hillcrest's first commercial agreements.
