Active Energy Group PLC (AIM:AEG, OTCQB:ATGVF) told investors it has recently secured a £125,000 interest-free loan from shareholder Zen Ventures, as it works to complete its outstanding financial reporting documents.
The company’s shares remain suspended until the 2023 audited results and its interim results for the first half of 2024 are published.
It comes after a shareholder vote in July nixed proposals to take the company private before entering into voluntary liquidation.
Instead, following subsequent shareholder engagement, the company has continued to focus on the commercialization of its proprietary CoalSwitch technology – a biomass fuel that can be co-fired with coal without major plant modifications.
Active Energy said it is confident that it will publish its outstanding financial results by December, to allow the company’s shares to resume trading in London and allowing the company to again look forward.
The shares were suspended on 1 July 2024, and should the company fail to release the reports within six months of the suspension date, its shares will be delisted from AIM.
