Good Energy up 9% on Hive EV charger deal

Good Energy Group Plc's (LSE:GOOD) share price rose 9% in early trading after its subsidiary, Zapmap, announced a strategic partnership with Hive, Centrica’s eco-tech company.

Starting in 2025, new Hive electric vehicle (EV) customers will receive £20 in charging credits to use at thousands of Zap-Pay-enabled chargers across the UK. This partnership aims to simplify EV charging, both at home and on the road.

Hive’s SmartCharge feature, which helps users save by charging during cheaper energy periods, will be further integrated with Zapmap’s platform.

The collaboration is expected to offer customers more convenient charging options, boosting confidence in Good Energy’s growth in the electric vehicle sector.

In early trading, the stock was up 24.79p at 288.79p.
