Steppe Cement (AIM:STCM) recovered all of the ground lost after a profit warning last month as the Kazakhstan-focused supplier said trading picked up again.
Revenues in the three months to September rose by 7% to US$32 million roughly, reducing the year-to-date decline to 2% or US$67 million.
Volumes rose by 5% in the latest quarter and prices by 2%while production levels have also increased.
Javier del Ser Perez, chief executive, said: "We recovered both volumes and pricing in the third quarter of 2024, following a price adjustment in the second quarter.
“While competition remains strong, our factory has continued to enhance its capacity and productivity, enabling us to offset the impact of past inflation."
Shares rose 19% or 2.5p to 15.5p.
