StickIt Technologies Inc. (CSE:STKT) earlier this week discussed their latest cannabis consumption innovation with Proactive.
Shawn Ripley, the company’s Head of Research, highlighted their novel product, the SipIT straw, which allows users to infuse any drink with cannabinoids such as THC and CBD.
“It's essentially a straw with a cartridge inside that releases cannabinoids—THC, CBD, or others—into any beverage,” Ripley explained. “You can use it with any drink, and it doesn’t affect the taste. You’ll feel the effects within ten minutes, providing a rapid onset of effects.”
StickIT Technologies, an Israel-based company, is focused on developing cleaner and more effective ways to consume cannabis. In addition to the SipIT straw, the company has created the StickIT, a product designed to improve the performance of pre-rolls by enhancing cannabinoid delivery and burn quality.
Looking ahead, StickIT is set to expand its product availability in Canada, having secured key distribution partnerships with Herbal Dispatch and others. Ripley also confirmed plans to introduce the SipIT straw to the US market, targeting states like California, Colorado, and Florida.
As part of its long-term growth strategy, StickIT is also working on other innovative cannabis products, including a dissolvable strip with fast-acting effects, expected to complement their existing offerings.
“Our priority is getting our products into markets,” Ripley concluded. “We're bringing cleaner, more effective, and more fun cannabis consumption products to consumers and patients.”
