Rentokil Initial PLC (LSE:RTO) is scheduled to report third-quarter results on Thursday, just over a month after its third profit warning in a year, which led to the shares sinking to a five-year low.
Following the September warning that sales in North America had been lower than expected in the previous two months, the board bowed to investor pressure and added a representative from activist investor Nelson Peltz's Trian Fund Management to their ranks.
Peltz's firm took a stake in the Anglo-US pest control group earlier this summer.
This coming trading update should see organic revenue growth from the US and Canadian operations slow to around 1% from around 2.8% in the first half of the year, which was part of the basis of the latest profit warning.
There is also a "possibility of further integration disruption", analysts at Deutsche Bank have suggested, as synergies from its Terminix acquisition from 2022 were taking longer than expected to emerge.
