ATHA Energy CEO highlights 2024 growth priorities at TD Securities Nuclear Roundtable

ATHA Energy Corp (CSE:SASK, OTCQB:SASKF) CEO Troy Boisjoli highlighted the company's aggressive growth strategy and plans for the year ahead in a discussion at the TD Securities Annual Nuclear Fuel Cycle and Next Generation Nuclear Roundtable.

ATHA, listed in April 2023, has rapidly expanded its uranium exploration portfolio. Boisjoli shared that the company initially launched with 3.5 million acres of exploration property in the Athabasca Basin but has since expanded to 8.5 million acres across the Athabasca Basin, Thelon Basin, and Labrador’s Central Mineral Belt through acquisitions, including Latitude Uranium and 92 Energy.

ATHA now focuses on maturing key assets such as the Angilak project, which boasts a 43.3 million-pound uranium resource with an average grade of 0.69%.

“We like the grade profile,” Boisjoli said. “We like the technical setting and more than anything, why we acquired that company and that project was for the fact that there's a significant expansion potential there.”

Boisjoli noted ATHA’s de-risking program at Angilak was focused on expanding the mineralized envelope, with new corridors for potential resource growth.

The company is also advancing its Gemini Project, a new uranium discovery in the eastern Athabasca Basin.

He also highlighted the technical expertise of ATHA’s team, including Vice President of Exploration Cliff Revering, who brings experience from Orano and Cameco, and a strong track record in developing uranium assets.

Looking ahead, ATHA plans to continue its exploration programs while leveraging advanced data acquisition and machine learning to prioritize high-value targets across its extensive land portfolio.
