Giyani Metals CEO Charles FitzRoy on strategic licence review; focus on new exploration targets

Giyani Metals CEO Charles FitzRoy on strategic licence review; focus on new exploration targets

Giyani Metals Corp (TSX-V:EMM, OTC:CATPF) CEO Charles FitzRoy discusses a portfolio refocusing in Botswana as Giyani transitions to a development company. He told Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that Giyani has dropped some legacy licences, opting to prioritise highly prospective areas, which include their flagship K.Hill Project. FitzRoy highlighted the company’s success in maintaining the majority of its licenses, reflecting strong local government support.

FitzRoy also provided an update on Giyani’s demonstration plant in Johannesburg, emphasising that the facility remains on track for a Q4 product delivery. The plant's output will undergo offtake qualification and testing, paving the way for its commercial production facility in Botswana.

"The fact we have maintained the vast majority of our licenses shows the support we have in-country," FitzRoy noted during the conversation. He further mentioned that new exploration targets have been identified, adding significant value to their already extensive ore sources.
