Proactive’s Tylah Tully breaks down ‘Just the Facts’ of the latest announcement from Stellar Resources Ltd.
The company has accelerated its diamond drilling program at the Heemskirk Tin Project in Western Tasmania by adding a third diamond drill rig on-site.
Stellar has completed seven out of the planned 24 holes, with the drilling designed to upgrade resources to the indicated category, extend mineralisation and provide platforms for downhole electromagnetic surveys.
The ongoing drilling program supports the pre-feasibility study (PFS), providing key samples for metallurgical, ore sorting, geotechnical and hydrological test work.
The current mineral resource estimate for the project stands at 7.48 million tonnes at 1.04% tin, making it the highest-grade undeveloped tin resource in Australia and third globally.
The company has also dispatched 489 kilograms of core samples for metallurgical and ore sorting analysis to optimise recoveries and plant design.
