NuLegacy Gold announces name change to Preservation Gold

NuLegacy Gold Corp (TSX-V:NUG) has announced plans to rebrand as Preservation Gold Corporation.

The name change, which is pending shareholder approval, is part of broader efforts aimed at revitalizing the company’s future, with major decisions scheduled for the upcoming October 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Key on the AGM agenda is the approval of a re-capitalization strategy, including a 25-to-1 reverse stock split. This move is intended to consolidate the company’s common shares and streamline its financial structure for future growth.

In preparation, the company has terminated its previous 100 million-unit non-brokered private placement, having successfully raised $452,000, primarily from Crescat Portfolio Management and company insiders. The proceeds will be used to maintain the Red Hill property in Nevada’s Cortez Gold trend.

If the stock consolidation is approved, NuLegacy plans to amend the exercise price of warrants issued in the placement, setting it at $0.50 per share post-consolidation.

The company is optimistic about the future, indicating potential new financing options after the restructuring and rebranding are complete.

NuLegacy is currently focused on exploring its flagship Red Hill property, located on the prolific Cortez Gold Trend in Nevada.

This region is home to some of the world’s largest and most profitable gold deposits, including the nearby Pipeline, Cortez, and Goldrush mines.

With over 108 square kilometers of prime exploration land, the company is targeting high-grade, Carlin-style gold mineralization, aiming to capitalize on the area's proven potential.
