Volution update eyed for clues on Australia acquisition growth

Volution Group PLC's (LSE:FAN) full-year results next Thursday (10 October) comes hot on the heels of news of its largest acquisition to date.

The FTSE 250-listed ventilation products firm announced the £112.9 million takeover of Australia and New Zealand-based Fantech last month.

Investors will therefore be eyeing the upcoming update for any news on the company’s outlook for the Australasia region, where it said the Fantech takeover would provide a “great platform” for growth.

This would come after Volution reported its performance in 2024 had been plagued with subdued construction activity, high interest and weak consumer confidence in July.

Trading in the UK was said to have been partially hit by the likes of weak commercial construction, as organic revenue in continental Europe remained flat.

That said, Volution noted constant currency revenue growth was expected to come in at over 7% for the year.

Australia was highlighted as having been a strong region for growth before the Fantech acquisition, with Volution adding it had racked up market share gains down over the year.
