CMC Markets PLC (LSE:CMCX)’s update next Wednesday, 9 October is set to offer clues into the progress of its partnership with fintech firm Revolut.
Having unveiled the deal in June, CMC reported in July that onboarding of clients under the partnership had begun.
This was set to see a range of CMC-provided services introduced to Revolut’s app, including those allowing traders to buy and sell European corporate and government bonds.
Investors will be looking for clues on the performance of such new tools under the partnership in next Wednesday’s update as a result, which is set to cover first-half trading before comprehensive results are released in November.
CMC had noted the Revolut partnership brought with it “an encouraging pipeline of potential opportunities”, coinciding with efforts to grow profit margins in the business-to-business space.
Guidance has also previously been laid out for net operating income of £320 million to £360 million this year, from £332.8 million recorded in the 2024 financial year.
