Charbone Hydrogen partners with Enki GéoSolutions to advance white hydrogen expansion

Charbone Hydrogen Corporation (TSX-V:CH, OTCQB:CHHYF) announced that it has entered into a consultancy agreement with Enki GéoSolutions to guide its leadership on potential partnerships in the emerging field of renewable hydrogen, known as white or natural hydrogen.

The collaboration will see Enki GéoSolutions’ president, Stephan Séjourné, join Charbone’s scientific team, providing expert insight on white hydrogen initiatives.

Séjourné, a prominent Quebec exploration geologist, has extensive experience in the petroleum industry and, since 2017, has focused on natural hydrogen.

His recent research, conducted with INRS-ETE and backed by the Quebec government, highlights his deep expertise in this area.

“Mr. Séjourné is a world-class recognized geologist who brings tremendous complementary scientific experience to the company executive team, while the natural hydrogen sector has incredibly exciting possibilities and may change how we think about that source of energy,” Charbone CEO Dave Gagnon said in a statement.

“Our goal as always, is to maximize our portfolio, our revenues and our shareholder value.”

Charbone is positioning itself as a key player in the clean hydrogen supply chain, with plans to develop at least 16 facilities across North America to streamline hydrogen purification, compression, and distribution.

The company's first green hydrogen production site will begin operations this year in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, followed by another near Detroit.

Charbone is also targeting key markets such as New York, Ontario, Pennsylvania, and California, and aims to operate 16 facilities by 2030.
