North Bay Resources announces first gold ore shipment from Fran project

North Bay Resources Inc. (OTC:NBRI) announced it had processed its first gold ore shipment from the Fran Gold Project.

The ore has undergone primary crushing using a grizzly and jaw crusher, reducing it to ½” minus size.

The next step involves further reduction in a ball mill, with on-site mechanics overseeing the mill's start-up and stabilization.

Once reduced to minus 150 mesh, the ore will be transferred as a slurry to a gravity separation table to extract free gold and other metals. The remaining ore will proceed through the flotation and concentrate circuit, where process engineers are expected this week to optimize the flotation cells and reagent formulations for final recovery.

The Fran property spans 34,360 acres and is situated 20 miles from Centerra Gold’s Mt. Milligan Copper-Gold Mine.

At the company's Taber Gold Mine, rehabilitation efforts in the Wild Boar Zone have progressed, with crews nearing the mining faces. This zone, located approximately 700 feet inside the mine, has undergone extensive timbering and spiling work to support further development.
