Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest and eToro launch tech-focused investment vehicle

eToro Group Ltd and Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest have teamed up to create a new portfolio focused on technology and innovation.

The ARK-FutureFirst Smart Portfolio aims to provide retail investors with access to companies at the forefront of groundbreaking technologies.

It will include investments in disruptive innovation, healthcare innovation, and sustainability, targeting high-growth companies that are shaping the future and is fully invested across seven of ARK Invest’s UCITS ETFs. This includes Cathie Wood’s flagship ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK)

“We are thrilled to partner with eToro to launch a new model portfolio centred around three key areas that we believe are poised for transformative growth: Technological Innovation, the Sustainable Revolution, and Healthcare Disruption,” said Cathie Wood, founder and chief executive of ARK Invest.

James Thomas, head of european Sales at ARK Invest, added: “We look forward to developing further partnerships with industry leaders, like eToro, who are dedicated to bringing future-focused investment solutions to their customers.”

eToro’s chief investment officer Gil Shapira stated: “With the ARK-FutureFirst portfolio, eToro users can seek growth through truly long-term, cross-sector trends that are predicted to not just shift markets but the world for decades to come.”
