URA Holdings PLC (LSE:URAH) has confirmed its name change to Gem Resources Plc to reflect the company’s focus on gemstone mining and exploration.
At the same time, it has launched a new company website – www.gemresources.co.uk.
"We are excited to announce our rebranding,” chair Ed Nealon said in a statement.
“With the start of production at the Gravelotte Emerald Mine and the recent acquisition of the Curlew Emerald Mine, we are becoming a leading player in the coloured gemstone sector.
“Unlike diamond prices, coloured gemstone prices and demand continue to rise, particularly for ethically sourced gems.”
