North Bay Resources Inc. (OTC:NBRI) earlier this week announced the successful completion of its first shipment of ore from the Fran Gold Project.
According to CEO Jared Lazerson, the shipment marked a critical milestone as the company ramps up production. The heavy equipment group is now on-site and has started running mine ore, which is expected to lead to imminent gold production.
Lazerson explained that the company is focusing on optimizing both the crushing and flotation processes to enhance gold recovery. “We have over 5,000 tons of ore ready for processing, and with a mill capacity of 100 tons per day, we are looking at months of continuous production,” he said.
The company is also working to reduce transportation costs to further streamline operations.
In addition to production updates, North Bay Resources received a clean bill of health for its tailings pond following an environmental inspection. The company is ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, including updating financial projections related to mine closure costs.
Lazerson expressed optimism about the future, noting that rising gold prices are an unexpected but welcome development. With its Fran Gold Project in production, the company is positioning itself for growth in the North American gold market.
