Galileo Resources PLC (AIM:GLR) chairman Colin Bird said he expects the current tide driving copper will turn into a tsunami and change how many things are done in the operating and marketing of copper.
This will come notwithstanding the real and fundamental problem of a lack of supply, Bird added, who believes the junior mining market is facing a far deeper-than-normal downturn in the business cycle.
“We are advancing our business on the premise that it is always darkest before dawn and the fundamentals are almost certain to bring a new beginning,” he added.
Galileo posted a loss of £966,000 (£1.55 million) in the year to end March 2024.
