Video content software specialist Videndum PLC (LSE:VID)slumped 20% as it warned recovery from actors and scriptwriter strikes last year was taking longer to come through than expected.
Revenues from continuing operations fell by 7% in the half year to June, while the group posted another loss, this time £13.4 million.
Due to the slower than expected order pick up and despite an Olympics boost, results for the full year will also be below expectations, said the group, with a £10 million cost-cutting programme implemented.
On the plus side, Stephen Bird, chief executive, said the group has returned to being cash-generative with a continued reduction in net debt.
Shares fell 20% to 235p.
