ATOME PLC (AIM:ATOM), the green fertiliser and hydrogen specialist, has raised £2.25 million through a direct subscription with directors and senior management and a placing of shares with institutions.
Shares in the fundraise were issued a 75p, a 4% discount to the closing price at the close on 25 September.
In total, eight directors and management are investing £1.5 million of the money being raised, which ATOME said shows their alignment, commitment and belief in its strategy and projects, including fertiliser development Viletta in Paraguay.
The net proceeds, combined with existing financial resources, including the £4 million facility provided by Peter Levine, ATOME's chair and largest shareholder, will assist as it moves towards a Final Investment Decision (FID) at Villeta as well as for other projects.
