Panthera Resources PLC (AIM:PAT) said it has completed its latest drilling programme at the Bido project in Burkina Faso.
Some 2,483 metres of reverse circulation (RC) drilling was carried out at the Beredo-Kiekouyou and Somika Hill. (Kaga vein system) prospects on the licence.
Drilling at Beredo-Kiekouyou identified multiple low-angle westerly dipping structures coincident with geochemical and geophysical anomalies, Panthera said.
At Kaga, on the Somika Hill tenement, Panthera intersected quartz veins and veinlets similar in style to mineralisation identified in earlier drilling
Drill samples have been sent to SGS laboratory with assay results expected next month.
Panthera holds an 80% interest in Bido and can acquire the remaining 20% by spending US$1 million on exploration and development within two years.
