Is the bleeding finally about stop for holders of stock in Trump's Truth Social owner?

There does seem to be some respite for investors in Donald Trump’s media company after the stock fell 10% on Monday after insider selling restrictions expired.

Ahead of the bell, shares in Trump Media & Technology Group Corp (NASDAQ:DJT), 57% owned by the former US president, were marked 1% higher.

If the price holds at the open it will staunch six consecutive days of declines that have reduced its market value to $2.4 billion.

Since insider selling limits were lifted last week, the stock has dropped 17%. Trump Media, which operates the Truth Social app, once reached a valuation of nearly $10 billion, driven by Trump supporters and retail investors.

However, shares have consistently declined, with losses intensifying after Joe Biden announced his re-election campaign in July.
