Blackbird PLC (AIM:BIRD) announced Tuesday that its video editing platform, elevate.io, has surpassed 10,000 verified users following ramped-up marketing efforts.
AIM-listed Blackbird said 1,800 people were signed up to the platform earlier this month, with the surge in users coming on the back of targeted advertising campaigns.
“It is tremendously exciting to see this early success,” chief executive Ian McDonough commented in a statement.
“[It] supports our belief in elevate.io and the vast appetite for online and collaborative video editing tools.”
Blackbird noted elevate.io had performed without issues despite the rapid uptick in users, which comes as new features are rolled out onto the platform.
This follows elevate.io’s free release in March this year, ahead of Blackbird’s plans to monetise the system in early 2025.
“As we execute our product-led growth strategy, we are really encouraged to see our marketing efforts tapping into this wall of latent demand,” McDonough added.
