ATOME PLC (AIM:ATOM) said it is making material progress towards financing its 145Mw Villeta green fertiliser project in Paraguay with offers for debt and equity funding.
Offers for the debt portion have been substantially oversubscribed, ATOME added with interest from multi-laterals, commercial banks, strategic investors and specialised investment funds.
Interest for the equity portion has also been strong, added the statement including in ATOME's other projects as well as Villeta.
ATOME added the aim is to complete the funding and start on-site work by the end of 2024.
In addition, Villeta’s engineering contractors are finalising the costings for its construction with a detailed estimate expected next month.
