Proactive’s Tylah Tully breaks down 'Just the Facts' from Provaris Energy Ltd (ASX:PV1, OTC:GBBLF) latest ASX announcement.
It has submitted a conditional offer to acquire the prototype hydrogen tank production cell located at the Fiskå Facility in Norway. This move comes after discussions with the secured lender about the sale of the facility, following the bankruptcy of Prodtex Industri, which was previously contracted to design, construct, and test Provaris' hydrogen prototype tank.
If successful, the acquisition would give Provaris full control over the robotics and laser-hybrid equipment at the facility, safeguarding its investments made to date and securing the future of its prototype tank program. The company also sees potential for additional tank production opportunities at the Fiskå Facility.
Provaris has been informed that the secured lender intends to sell all assets of Prodtex Industri as soon as practical. The company’s board recognises the importance of protecting its investments and believes that gaining full control of the production cell will provide long-term value, particularly as interest in hydrogen compression for storage and transport grows. Provaris aims to capitalise on this demand as it continues to advance its hydrogen prototype tank program.
