EQTEC PLC (AIM:EQT) has appointed Murli Bhamidipati as operations director at EQTEC Iberia, the company’s Spain-based subsidiary.
Bhamidipati will also take on the role of managing director and will begin his tenure on 30 September.
He will be based in Barcelona, where he will lead business development and oversee the engineering team.
This appointment follows the company's announcement in August 2024 that its lead operations role will transition to Spain, aligning with its strategy to become a pure-play technology innovator and licensor.
As part of these changes, Jeffrey Vander Linden, the group's chief operating officer, will step down from the Board on 29 September.
