Just the Facts: Novo Resources’ Pilbara antimony gold exploration yields positive results

Proactive’s Tylah Tully has Just the Facts about Novo Resources Corp (TSX:NVO, OTCQX:NSRPF, ASX:NVO) completion of a review of the antimony and gold potential across its Pilbara landholding in light of recent global strategic metals supply changes.

It reports two prospects in the early stages of exploration have ranked highly for antimony potential, including the historic Sherlock Crossing antimony mine and the Southeast Wyloo antimony-gold stream sediment anomaly.

The Sherlock Crossing mine, which was operational between 1907 and 1916, was rediscovered through Novo's 2022 reconnaissance efforts.

This exploration yielded peak results of 1.71 grams per tonne gold and 592 ppm antimony.

Historical records from the early twentieth century indicated high antimony and gold production, though the mine has since been covered by flood debris.

At south east Wyloo, reconnaissance last year revealed two high-order antimony stream sediment anomalies over a two-kilometre strike.

Rock chip samples returned peak results of 387 grams per tonne silver, 5% lead, 1.6% zinc, 2.4% copper, 0.38% antimony and 0.52 grams per tonne gold. Pic 3

Following up on this review, Novo plans exploration at both sites, including further sampling, soil analysis, mapping, and drilling.
