The boom in sports betting in the US was a key theme for Gaming Realms PLC (AIM:GMR, OTCQX:PSDMF), which landed a slew of deals with American operators.
A creator of mobile content for the industry, the group inked agreements with Fanatics and FanDuel and landed an iGaming licence in West Virginia. It has also booked new US business with Playtech along with work in Switzerland.
The update was provided alongside interim results, which showed total revenues grew by 18% in the six months ended June 30 to £13.6 million while underlying earnings (EBITDA) were up 21% at £5.8 million. Excluding brand licensing, EBITDA was up 46% while pre-tax profit grew by 51%.
Strongly cash generative, Gaming Realms ended the six months to June 30 with £9.6 million in the bank, up £2.1 million on the same period last year.
There was no upgrade to expectations; however, the company said it was 'optimistic' about the full-year outcome.
"These results reflect our commitment to innovation and solidify our position in the gaming industry," said CEO Mark Segal.
"The achievements of the first half demonstrate the dedication of our team and the appeal of our unique gaming offerings.
"We are poised for further growth as we continue to expand into new markets, launch with new partners and strengthen our existing partnerships."
