Golden Arrow reports long copper mineralization intervals at Rincones target

Golden Arrow Resources Corp (TSX-V:GRG, OTCQB:GARWF) announced significant new copper mineralization intervals from its ongoing drilling campaign at the San Pietro iron-copper-gold-cobalt project in Chile.

Highlights from one hole at the Rincones target include 110 meters of mineralization at 0.40% copper, 0.08 g/t gold, 85 g/t cobalt, and 18.0% iron, starting at 158 meters depth.

The hole also revealed a high-grade interval of 1.12 meters, with 10.35% copper, 2.44 g/t gold, 470 g/t cobalt, and 23.1% iron.

In addition to the copper-rich intervals at Rincones, significant cobalt mineralization was also intercepted at the Colla target, located approximately two kilometers southwest of Rincones. Drilling intersected 123.1 meters of mineralization, with 443 g/t cobalt starting at a shallow depth of 24.9 meters, including 19.43 meters grading 790 g/t cobalt and 32.6% iron, marking the best cobalt intercept reported to date at the San Pietro project.

Brian McEwen, Golden Arrow's vice president of exploration and development, told investors the company was pleased with the results.

“We have succeeded in demonstrating that wide zones of mineralization are continuous between the previously defined north and south Rincones zones, within a broad area that was not historically drilled,” McEwen said in a statement.

“With half of the estimated 10,000 metre program remaining, we are confident that we will be further increasing the resource potential of the project."

The results from Rincones are part of Golden Arrow's broader exploration efforts at the San Pietro Project, where it aims to complete an initial mineral resource estimate. The Phase 2 drilling program, launched in April 2024, has already completed more than 50% of the planned drilling.
