Tempest Minerals goes in with the drills at Yalgoo Project’s Remorse copper target

Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX:TEM) has kicked off a 5,000-metre reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Remorse Copper Target, part of the company’s Yalgoo Project in Western Australia.

The company’s ongoing data-driven, risk-weighted exploration efforts are aimed at uncovering valuable base and precious metals across an expansive 1,000-square-kilometre project area.

Considerable promise shown

The current drilling program targets the central area of the Remorse prospect, which has shown considerable promise based on prior geochemical and geophysical surveys.

This phase is expected to provide critical data that will guide Tempest’s future exploration activities in the area.

Ground truthing and detailed geological mapping have played an essential role in shaping this drill campaign, and they follow extensive multi-data analyses.

Methodical approach

"Despite some challenges, we’ve commenced drilling at Remorse,” said managing director Don Smith.

“Our methodical approach to exploration has led us to this point, and we are excited to be testing the potential of this promising copper target.

“We look forward to updating shareholders as results become available."

The Yalgoo Project has been a focal point for Tempest, with multiple targets showing potential for significant mineralisation.

If all goes well with the current campaign, the company will be moving to expand its exploration efforts and broader development plans for its West Australian portfolio.
