Zara owner Inditex should have boosted sales over the second quarter after signalling spring and summer collections had been received well previously, analysts say.
UBS analysts noted results next Wednesday, 11 September should show local currency sales up 10% over the quarter.
This comes after Inditex, which owns the likes of Massimi Dutti and Pull&Bear, said sales over the first month of the quarter had jumped 12%, fuelled by the new seasonal collections.
Forecasts are for pre-tax earnings to sit at €1.86 billion on the back of the increase, with margins sitting at 18.8%, according to UBS.
An acceleration should then be in store over the third quarter, UBS added, in part due to softer comparables from last year.
