Computacenter PLC's (LSE:CCC) trading update in July flagged half-year profits down 29% year-on-year to £87 million but indicated it still expected to grow profits over the year.
Whether that is still the case will be a focus of next week’s update from the computer hardware retailer.
Conditions were described as tough in the UK, but Germany had picked up and France was flat though updates from rivals recently have suggested things in these two countries have worsened recently.
The announcement in July of a £200m buyback suggests M&A prospects are limited, but this remains an area of opportunity, believes UBS, which has forecast interim revenues of £2.81 billion to go along with the profits of £87 million (£93 million).
