Kodal Minerals PLC (AIM:KOD) CEO Bernard Aylward takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the latest developments at the Bougouni Lithium Project. Aylward provided an update on the construction of the Dense Media Separation (DMS) processing plant and recent drilling assay results from the Boumou prospect.
"We continue to make significant progress at our Bougouni project, particularly with our partner Hainan Mining," said Aylward. He detailed the shipments arriving at Abidjan Port and trucks heading to Bougouni, showing the substantial logistics underway.
Although weather has slightly delayed some aspects of the project, open-pit mining at the Ngoualana pegmatite is advancing well. Aylward also emphasised the potential at Boumou for increasing the resource base through continued drilling, with more exploration planned after the wet season.
