Digbee Limited founder and CEO Jamie Strauss Fury Gold Mines (TSX:FURY, NYSE:FURY) CEO Tim Clark share insights into how the company's third Digbee assessment has strengthened its community relations and governance strategies. Clark emphasised how focusing on transparency and improving relations with Indigenous communities has been key.
Clark also highlighted how Fury’s board has added more diversity, with 33% representation of women, and the company aims to improve that further. He said, "We've cleaned things up and become more active and aware, and I think our rating moving up reflects that."
Strauss explained how Digbee’s metrics provide companies like Fury with a tool to communicate progress to stakeholders, build trust, and differentiate themselves from peers. He pointed out, "What are they holding themselves to and how can they be held accountable?"
