Rome Resources getting busy at Bisie North with three drill rigs on site

Rome Resources Plc (AIM:RMR, AIM:RMR) said that two diamond core drill rigs are operational at the Kalayi prospect, while one is active at the Mont Agoma prospect in North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo. These sites, along with the Mont Agoma Northwest prospect, form part of the Bisie North Projects.

At Kalayi, the third drill hole, KBDD007, has reached a depth of 103 meters. The second rig at Kalayi, located on the same line as KBDD006, is targeting a tin zone approximately 50 meters below a previously identified mineralised area.

At Mont Agoma, the third drill rig is focused on the southeast, targeting a tin horizon observed in earlier drilling and deeper copper, tin, and silver zones.

Rome Resources plans to provide regular updates on its ongoing drilling efforts, with a resource estimate expected by early 2025.

"We are really pleased with the ongoing progress of our drilling campaign at Bisie North, now poised to accelerate further," said CEO Paul Barrett.

"The positive results we are receiving support the initial work undertaken at the project which indicated it has the potential to be an exciting, high-grade tin deposit.

"With demand for tin increasing, and disruption continuing at some of the world's largest suppliers, Bisie North could be a key element to filling the anticipated supply shortfall of this critical metal."
